Traditional Logic of Criminalizing Adultery
Note: the following is not intended to be misogynistic, this intends to demonstrate a general pattern that results in infidelity and what we can do as a society to prevent it because infidelity is emotionally painful. Infidelity is a result of sexual freedom for either gender to pursue their own immoral sexual strategies.
This piece assumes the truth of hypergamy. Hypergamy is the tendency for women to prefer the best partner whether she is partnered or not. In any relationship, the invisible force of hypergamy (as well as polygyny for the man) is real but hidden. In this piece we will consider three parties in a relationship, a woman, the man she has, and the man she wants, i.e. women, betas, and alphas. Apart from these definitions, the terms are arbitrary and have no scientific implications or backing for that matter. They are anecdotal.
The adultery law benefits the beta and harms alpha male as well as women. The women desire commitment and resources from the alphas. Because marriage is essentially a trade of beauty for resources, the women would exchange their beauty for the hope for good genetics, resources, and commitment from alphas. However the alpha doesn't need to give commitment or resources because he already obtains beauty from other women seeking the exact same thing. Those women around the alpha just make their trade too early. Note, his immoral promiscuity is just a result of his mating strategy; that is to fertilize as many women as possible.
Since women can't secure the alpha, she settles for the beta male as her provider and commitment. The beta male obtains her beauty and promise of her children but this puts the female at a reproductive disadvantage, as the beta male's genes aren't optimal. The female wants the best for her children so she doesn't fully commit to the beta and takes the genes of the superior alpha. This is the woman's immoral mating strategy; to take genes from the alpha and rely on the beta/alpha for commitment, and resources. The mixed strategy that the women take result in the beta being deceived to think that his inferior genes are the ones that will be passed on; keep in mind that the beta male literally breathes and labors to make sure that his genes are passed on!
If he realizes that his children might not be his, he will ruin his woman because he feels betrayed. He believes he did his part of the trade and she didn't fulfill the deal. As a result, he takes three options,
When the prophet (saw) was asked which woman was the best he replied: “The one who pleases (her husband) when he looks at her, obeys him when he gives a command, and does not go against his wishes regarding his person or property doing anything of which he disapproves..” [Reported by At-Tirmidhi, An-Nasaa’i & Al-Bayhaqi]
And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.

- He will either cower from his wife and continue to live with her in this depressed state;
- He will separate from her (because he believes he is neither responsible for her nor her children) and will leave her and her children vulnerable;
- He will lash out in rage against his woman for her deception and/or lash out in rage against the alpha male for invading 'what he thinks is his'. Should the last situation unfold, the man will likely take more anger out on his wife because she is weaker and she was expected to be loyal, whereas it was expected of the alpha male to do what he did and obviously the alpha is more powerful.
The adultery law hinders the woman from taking the alpha's genes by increasing the apparent risk for the woman in doing so, thereby protecting her from the potential wrath of the beta.
- Starves the alpha male sexually and forces him to commit (a maximum of four) women
- Reassures the beta male that he will get his fair share,
- Reduces sexual jealousy that may occur of women in relationships with alphas,
- Reduces sexual jealousy of beta males for their women,
- Protects the family unit and keeps both parents of a child in the home!
- Reduces enmity between alphas and betas
- Keeps society harmonious
The adultery law prevents alpha males and women from abusing betas!
Criminalizing adultery solves this issue and attempts to eliminate the aforementioned negative externalities associated with infidelity:
'Ubada b. as-Samit reported: Allah's Messenger as saying: Receive teaching from me, receive teaching from me. Allah has ordained a way for those women. When an unmarried male commits adultery with an unmarried female, they should receive one hundred lashes and banishment for one year. And in case of married male committing adultery with a married female, they shall receive one hundred lashes and be stoned to death.
Beta males need to learn to set boundaries and in doing so actually becoming more attractive and appearing have the ability to be more protective and assume security (according to No More Mr. Nice Guy by Robert Glover). In doing so, they act more alpha-male like.

Even if the adultery law is not in place we can still benefit from this knowledge.
Beta males need to learn to set boundaries and in doing so actually becoming more attractive and appearing have the ability to be more protective and assume security (according to No More Mr. Nice Guy by Robert Glover). In doing so, they act more alpha-male like.
- “There are three at whom Allaah will not look at on the day of Resurrection: (1) the one who disobeys his parents, (2) the woman who imitates men, and (3) the duyooth (a man who has no protective jealousy towards his womenfolk).” [Saheeh Al-Jaami’ As-Sagheer 3/74, hadith no. 3066]
- Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and beat them (lightly). Then if they obey you, seek not a way against them. Lo! Allah is ever High, Exalted, Great.
- And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls, then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just, then [marry only] one or those your right hand possesses. That is more suitable that you may not incline [to injustice].
If we assume the truth of the sexual strategy of women, then potential wives need to find a mate that is the combination of the attractiveness of the alpha and the commitment of the beta. To increase the amount of these types of males, the betas need to be more alpha (i.e. set boundaries and improve oneself) and the alphas need to be more beta (refrain from zina and limiting oneself). Women have the role of finding these men and remaining loyal to them. Note that the beta will not really be selected by the women regardless. Regardless, we know that in Islam, women have the option of divorce, so if the man was of low quality, she could leave him and that forced marriages are prohibited. If women want the alpha and want to maintain that relationship, she would consistently have to prove to him that she is all he wants.
“And when you divorce women and they have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable terms or release them according to acceptable terms, and do not keep them, intending harm, to transgress [against them]. And whoever does that has certainly wronged himself.
