Therefore, as demonstrated by this quiz, everyone has their own desires that they wish to fulfill but there are rules society has placed upon them as to how it is permissible to fulfill those desires. You are not a 100% heterosexual and you are not a 100% homosexual, or a bisexual or a transgender or whatever in your desires.

In Alfred Kinsey's 1948 work Sexual Behavior in the Human Male, Kinsey writes, “Males do not represent two discrete populations, heterosexual and homosexual. The world is not to be divided into sheep and goats ... The living world is a continuum in each and every one of its aspects” (Kinsey 1948).

Because nearly all people have a desire to stimulate their genitals with other than their spouse's genitals (whether they admit it or not), LGBTQ as absolute labels do not exist, and we can think of sexuality as a spectrum of desires that can change. At the same time, it is obvious that we need to place restrictions on what we can have sex with (for the sake of children and decency). Hence God gave us a way for us to fulfill those desires without infringing on the rights of others as well as preventing ourselves from harming ourselves.

If everyone has any desire other than that of their spouse's genitals (which is nearly all people whether they admit it or not), and Islam only permits stimulation with one's spouse's genitals; do you think it is fair to say that Islam sexually represses everyone?

Islam does not repress people who have different preferences, but like the West rightfully bans pedophelia, we ban homosexual sex. Then how does a person who has these desires achieve sexual pleasure then? It is possible that if you have sex with a woman as a pure homosexual (which likely does not exist), to have a pleasurable experience because at the end of the day the pleasure from sex is mechanical and has elements of objectivity. Genital stimulation, regardless of the object causing the stimulation, could inevitably lead to orgasm, and in the normal functioning human, this is objectively pleasing because it is associated with dopamine release. Thus the myth of an unattainable sexual fulfillment that is hindered by religion is not such a strong claim as the proposers might like to think!

The prohibition of homosexual sex in Islam, and really any sex outside the confines of a traditional marriage can be analogized to the following scenario: if you prefer to eat crackers, but society does not allow you to eat crackers, you can still achieve the satiation of hunger by eating something else that might even be better for you (salad).
