Behold, Superficial Outrage Phenomenon.

With the American declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, the world thunders and roars, with no bite. People deceive themselves thinking they are actually accomplishing something from the safety of their screens with supportive Facebook picture filters or angry tweets, and sadly enough, for most people, that’s representative of how much as they care about this issue. Nearly all governments, shared their version of angry tweets and Facebook statuses; the most aggressive of which, Turkey, ‘threatened to break ties with Israel’ (after they were the first Muslim country to recognize Israel).
Global outrage stirred at the decision, but the reality is that not much changed; the decision was symbolic more than anything else. Trump put the cherry on top of the icing on top of the cake; where was the world when the cake cooking? Muslims are far too busy being useless while other ‘Pro-Palestinian nations’ just pat our back to console us. Your tweets, statuses, and snaps just show that you cry.
Well, at least you have emotions for the Ummah, not everyone has that.
In today’s world, international justice is at best impotent insults and at worst a puppet of the dajjal and a sign of the Day of Judgement.
Similarly, was that case of the supervisor of the Rohingya genocide, Aung San Suu Kyi. After 2000 Muslims were killed and 400,000 Muslims were driven from their homes to neighboring Bangladesh and all we got is angry tweets and Facebook posts. All we got from international governments and the United Nations was, again, their version of angry tweets and Facebook posts, condemnations and the novel recantation of previously awarded distinctions. We saw not a single boot on the ground to try and stop the killing, nor did we even see a threat to stop the killing! The only pockets of resistance were those of the locals, which western nations (unsurprisingly) classify as terrorists!
The solution seems clear, doesn’t it? It’s quite another task, however, when the odds are stacked against you and justice is a fable! Be steadfast, Muslims!
Trouble is, what do we do in the meantime? Micro-resistance with whiny tweets? Can we do anything else until we have a unified Muslim stance?
Where can we get justice from, and if it doesn't exist, how can we make it?
What do you think?
